Air Roasted in the Western Australian Wheatbelt.
Arise Coffee was created from a simple belief — exceptional coffee should feel personal, fresh, and deeply connected to the people who craft it.
Founded by David and Jennifer Duncan in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, Arise Coffee began after noticing the absence of local specialty coffee roasters in their community.
What started as a desire to bring better coffee to regional Western Australia has evolved into a roastery built around craftsmanship, discovery, and a quieter, more thoughtful coffee experience.
Today, Arise Coffee remains proudly family-owned and independently operated from our solar-powered roastery in Mokine, where every coffee is roasted fresh to order with care and intention.
The Art of Air Roasting
At the heart of Arise Coffee is our unique air roasting process.
Unlike traditional drum roasting, air roasting uses hot air to evenly suspend and roast the beans, creating a cleaner, smoother and more refined cup. This process allows the natural characteristics of each coffee to shine — highlighting sweetness, clarity and origin flavour while reducing bitterness and harshness.
For us, roasting is not simply about consistency. It is about revealing the personality of every coffee.
Whether it is a rich and comforting Brazilian, a floral Ethiopian, or a beautifully balanced Colombian, every origin is approached with the same philosophy:
to roast gently, intentionally, and with respect for the bean itself.

At Arise Coffee, every batch is air-roasted using hot air instead of direct contact with metal. This cleaner roasting method creates a more even roast, reducing bitterness and acidity while allowing the natural character of each coffee to shine.
Roasted in small batches and made to order, our coffee is shipped the same day to ensure peak freshness — from our Western Australian roastery to your cup.
